In divorce, disposition of the home is often not only the most difficult to handle from a financial perspective, but also from an emotional perspective. Many couples develop a significant attachment to their home and the community that comes with it. It’s no surprise, then, that deciding how to deal with the home in a divorce can be one of the most challenges items to tackle.
Join us for a discussion about divorce real estate from a legal perspective with Jill Daniels of Jill Daniels Law.
Also joining the conversation are Theresa Beran Kulat from Trinity Family Law, Stephen Koh from Lenox Advisors and Karen Kalliel, licensed clinical social worker and therapist.
Jill Daniels is an experienced attorney, mediator and advocate. Her practice is focused on residential real estate, estate planning and collaborative divorce and mediation. She is a frequent speaker, regularly presenting to realtors, prospective home buyers and financial planners.
Jill earned her law degree from Loyola University Chicago in 1999 and her undergraduate degree from Illinois Benedictine College (now Benedictine University) in 1995. She lives in LaGrange, Illinois with her husband Peter and their four children.
